The
activities of Ucodep in Bosnia
and Herzegovina are mainly directed towards
the fight against poverty, by
providing support to local population and instigating the integration of income
of the most disadvantaged families. With this purpose, the association acts
mostly in rural areas of the country, which are very often in a more
disadvantaged position than big cities, in which are concentrated many
initiatives of the international community.
The
protection and valorization of natural,
cultural, and agricultural-cattle-breeding resources of this area, that
have also a tourist purpose, as a support to small and medium enterprises,
represent the main sectors of intervention through which Ucodep intends to
promote the sustainable local
development in the country.
